The largest of the Marquesas Islands, Nuku Hiva is a beautiful volcanic island with enormous mountains boasting jagged walls that directly plunge into the ocean beneath. You’ll find the worlds third largest waterfall in Hakaui and you must try the delicious local delicacy of roast pork, cooked on hot rocks right on the beach.
