Day 1: Arrive Adelaide
Upon arrival in Adelaide, make your own way to the hotel to begin your cosmopolitan adventure. Known as the city of churches and home to renowned museums, Adelaide is bursting with arts, culture, flavours and entertainment. Get a taste of world-famous wine regions and award-winning restaurants right at your fingertips.
Day 2: Full Day Kangaroo Island Discovery (B, L)
Tours departing before 1 July 2021
Hop on the coach to Cape Jervis to board the ferry bound for Kangaroo Island. Visit Seal Bay where you can walk on the beach amongst the wild Australian sea lions, before heading to the Parndana hotel for lunch. After lunch, stop in at Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park to feed the kangaroos and get up close to koalas, before continuing on to Flinders Chase National Park. Although this area was impacted by bushfires in January 2020, you’ll see the amazing regeneration of the native bush, and have great photo opportunities at Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Late this afternoon, transfer to your overnight accommodation on Kangaroo Island.

Hop on the coach to Cape Jervis to board the ferry bound for Kangaroo Island. Take a guided tour of Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery and enjoy a lunch among the gum trees. After lunch, visit Seal Bay where you can walk on the beach amongst wild sea lions. Continue onto the fascinating In-flight Birds of Prey Display at Raptor Domain where you can meet an array of Australian birds and raptors. From here, travel to Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park to feed kangaroos and get up close to koalas. Late this afternoon, transfer to your overnight accommodation on Kangaroo Island.
Day 3: Kangaroo Island – Adelaide (B, L)

Be enthralled at the Birds of Prey In-flight Display at Raptor Domain followed by a guided tour of the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery before lunch. There’s an opportunity to buy some souvenirs and delicious produce at Clifford’s Honey Farm, before continuing to KI Spirits to sample some of their award-winning locally made liqueurs and gin. Finish the day at the new False Cape Wines cellar door and enjoy a superb wine tasting, before returning to Penneshaw to board the ferry for your transfers back to Adelaide.
Tours departing from 1 July 2021
This morning, you will have an opportunity to sample homemade honey ice cream and honey beauty products at Clifford’s Honey Farm. Enjoy a two-course lunch and then travel to Flinders Chase National Park for breathtaking views of its unique trees, plants and coastal scenery. Then, travel along the rugged southern coastline for a walk around Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch for the perfect photo opportunity. Return to Penneshaw to board the ferry for your transfers back to Adelaide.
Day 4: Welcome Aboard PS Murray Princess at Mannum (B, D)
Enjoy a pick up from your hotel at approximately 1.30pm bound for historic Mannum, the birthplace of the Murray River trade. Step aboard PS Murray Princess for a mid-afternoon departure and enjoy a Welcome Dinner as the cruise heads upriver. As you cruise under floodlight to our overnight mooring at Caurnamont, you may see nocturnal wildlife on the riverbank.
Day 5: Murray River Outback Heritage Cruise (B, L, D)
Enjoy a leisurely morning and lunch cruising upriver to Blanchetown where you will go through one of the locks which maintain the flow and water levels of the mighty river. The Murray Princess will moor opposite the township of Blanchetown, where you will join a guided tour of the Burk Salter Boutique Winery and surrounding vineyard. Experience the friendly atmosphere as you relax and enjoy wine tastings at the cellar door.
Day 6: Murray River Outback Heritage Cruise (B, L, D)
Today you will cruise downriver to the picturesque Swan Reach where you will join a guided walking tour to visit the local museum, housed in the original school building that was built in 1917. The museum has a unique collection of documents, photographs and historical items relating to the history of education and society in the river and rural communities. Return to the Murray Princess where you will continue to cruise down to Sunnydale. Go ashore for an authentic outback Woolshed Show and visit the Native Wildlife Shelter. Learn about the typical Australian woolshed history and see some of the native animals that are being cared for. Tonight, enjoy an Aussie BBQ set on the banks of the impressive Murray River.
Day 7: Murray River Outback Heritage Cruise (B, L, D)
Take the optional Bush Tucker Breakfast to savour the unique taste of kangaroo sausages, wattleseed toast or pancakes, lemon myrtle butter, quandong jam and real billy tea. Or join a bush walk with the Captain before you continue downriver past the magnificent cliffs scoured by the river over millions of years. At Ngaut Ngaut Aboriginal Reserve, join a guided boardwalk tour to view ancient rock carvings and learn about Aboriginal history in the area. This evening the Captain and his officers host a spectacular Farewell Buffet Dinner, where you can dress up and enjoy your final night on the Murray Princess.
Day 8: Farewell PS Murray Princess – Barossa Wine & Heritage Tour – Adelaide (B, L)
Cruise back to Mannum where you will disembark after breakfast. Depart for the famous Barossa, Australia’s richest and best-known winemaking region. First stop is at Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre for structured wine tasting and morning tea. Then visit Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop for a cooking demonstration and local produce tasting. Lunch is a two-course feast made with fresh regional produce at picturesque Lambert Estate vineyard. Your final stop is Gully Gardens at Angaston for samples of locally grown dried fruits and unique confectionery. Enjoy the Eden Valley scenery en route to Mannum for your return transfer to Adelaide..
Day 9: Adelaide Free Time (B)
Today is your free day to enjoy cosmopolitan Adelaide’s many parks and cafes at your own pace.
Day 10: Depart Adelaide (B)
After one final breakfast, bid farewell to multicultural Adelaide with lasting memories and make your own way to the airport.

Airport transfers, travel insurance, onboard drinks, optional tours, additional services onboard and anything not explicitly listed under inclusions are at your own expense.
An initial deposit of only $399 per person is required to secure your booking.
A second deposit (part payment) will be required for flights 150 days before departure – the date and amount to be confirmed by the consultant at time of booking.
The final balance will be due 120 days before departure.
A supplement for solo occupancy is payable in addition to the twin share price as follows:

Triple share is not available.
Children under 4 years of age are not permitted. Children 4 years and above pay the adult price. The cruise and tours involve adult activities and wine tasting experiences not recommended for young children.
EXTEND YOUR STAY
Pre or post accommodation in Adelaide with breakfast can be requested with rates from $250 per room per night (subject to availability).
Prices are correct at time of publication and are subject to availability, change, cancellation or withdrawal without notice. All prices are in Australian dollars per person twin share unless stated otherwise.
Due to high demand and limited availability of these special rates, bookings are not confirmed until confirmation is sent; usually within 48 hours.
PEACE OF MIND POLICY
If the hotel accommodations, tours or cruise are cancelled by the supplier due to COVID-19, a full credit will be offered.
If flights are cancelled by the airline due to COVID-19, your booking will be subject to the applicable airline policy effective at the time of cancellation.
Each change: $150 per person administration fee plus applicable airline and third-party supplier fees.
Cancellation more than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposits and airfare.
Cancellation within 60 days of departure: 50% of package price.
Cancellation within 30 days of departure: 100% of package price.
PASSENGER CRUISE AGREEMENT
A passenger cruise agreement must be completed before departure. Please note your travel is subject to your acceptance of the terms and conditions on the Passenger Cruise Agreement issued by the cruise operator. A low to moderate level of fitness is required. You will be expected to alight from coaches on your own accord. A certificate of fitness of travel by your doctor is required for passengers over 80 years of age and/or passengers with limited mobility, and a copy must be produced on request.
Baggage is limited to what you can stow in your cabins so you are strongly advised to pack light. All bags must be clearly labelled with your name and limited to one 15kg bag per person. Bags will be loaded by staff as you board the vessel.
Tipping is not required but is always gratefully received.
KANGAROO ISLAND TOUR & ACCOMMODATION
The Kangaroo Island tour itinerary and inclusions are subject to change without notice. The Kangaroo Island accommodation will be at the Kangaroo Island Seafront Hotel unless booked out. The hotel may be substituted with similar standard accommodation at the Aurora Ozone Hotel or Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge or similar (subject to availability).
Every effort will be made to accommodate you in the hotels and properties listed. In the unforeseen event that the listed hotels are not available, properties of similar standard will be provided.
All hotel ratings are local or self-ratings provided by the supplier. All rooms will be lead-in category or run of house unless otherwise specified.
Please notify us of any special dietary requirements but note that choices may be limited or not catered for.
Flights are booked approximately 3 or more months prior to departure. The flights included in your package are based on a specific predetermined airfare allowance. Should there be a significant increase in airfares, taxes or government fees at the time of booking flights, then an airfare supplement may be imposed. The flights team will discuss options with you prior to ticketing, should this situation arise. Flights may not operate daily or directly to your destination.
The operation of tours, cruises, trains, hotels, activities, attractions and restaurants are subject to availability and minimum numbers.
The operating schedule and itinerary may be impacted without notice by adverse weather, seasonal factors, closures, local conditions, COVID-19 or other factors beyond our control including force majeure. The itinerary and its order, sightseeing and transportation may be adjusted as deemed appropriate by the operator for optimum safety, enjoyment and operation.
Final documentation will be emailed within two weeks of departure of the respective travel component.

Force majeure means any natural disaster, accident, fire, act of God, act of war, terrorism, legally binding judgment, injunction, action of a court or other relevant authority, emergency, unplanned repairs, maintenance, strike, industrial dispute, work ban, blockade or picketing, travel ban, pandemic, epidemic or outbreak of infectious disease, or other event beyond our reasonable direct or indirect control. In case of force majeure or other extraordinary event that prevents safe travel, the supplier reserves the right to adjust, postpone or cancel the trip.
The pricing, terms and conditions listed herewith shall prevail in the case of any ambiguity or contradiction with other terms.
