Day 1: Adelaide, Australia

South Australia’s capital offers world-class vineyards, never ending hills and calm beaches. With the strong European presence, great food, wine and art has risen to popularity in this bustling city.

Day 2-3: At Sea

Your day at sea will allow you to take full advantage of everything the ship has to offer. Seek out hidden treasures and make the most of the facilities onboard. All of the ships activities can be found on the vessels daily newsletter. If relaxation is on your mind then your sea day will allow you to sit back, soak in ship life and watch the world as it floats by you.

Day 4: Albany, Australia

Welcome to Albany, located on the southern tip of Western Australia. Typical of all WA coastal locations, you’ll be treated to outstanding beaches and the Two Peoples Bay Nature Reserve. Migrating whales often pass the coast, juxtaposed against steep cliffs .

Day 5: Busselton, Australia

Dock at historic Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. This is your gateway to the world-class wine region of Margaret River. Enjoy the breathtaking karri tall timber forest, explore limestone caves, get lost in the host of artisan galleries or just relax with great food and a local beer at one of the many casual dining restaurants and soak up the atmosphere of the coast’s rugged beauty.

Day 6: Perth, Australia

Welcome to Perth! Check out the array of cuisines on offer, spend a day in the sun at Cottosloe Beach or go for a hike to see magnificient views over the city.

Formerly the Dawn Princess, this ship was renovated in 2017 and renamed the Pacific Explorer. On board, guests will find 11 decks filled with thrilling water slides, a water park and unique adventure activities like zip lining, rock climbing and the ‘walk the plank’ experience. For something more relaxing, verse your friends in an afternoon game of barefoot bowls. For exciting nightlife, be sure to visit the The Bonded Store & Archie Rose distillery, Black Circus for exclusive dinner and show packages or sing along in the Blue Room with live music every night.

You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to dining. Choose from 12 dining options which are all included in the cruise fare, there are 3 stylish a la carte restaurants and 9 eateries on board. The Salt Grill by celebrity chef Luke Mangan is not his only foray into food with P&O, try out one of his delicious burgers at Luke’s or visit the new 400 Gradi pizzeria, operated by award-wining Melbourne pizza chef Johnny Di Francesco who won the Best Pizza in the World award in 2014! There is also an on board spa and an adults only area on the deck, ideal for couples and groups of friends to relax and unwind between ports. No matter your preference, Pacific Explorer is guaranteed to be a good time.
