Day 1: Stockholm, Sweden
Laced by an ingenious network of waterways and bridges strung between a freshwater lake and the sea, Stockholm is easily seen on foot or by waterway cruise. Its gabled old townhouses peer over cobblestone streets, while its magnificent 17th-century palace sits watching over the harbour.Day 2: Visby, Sweden
Visby is located on the island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea. The immaculately preserved town wall and medieval fort add to the charm of the cobblestone streets and churches. Visby is home to the extravagant St. Mary's Cathedral as well as St. Nicolai and St. Karin churches. You'll also be able to relax in the abundance of cafes and restaurants in the area.Day 3: Pionersky, Russia
Originally named Neukuhren when the region was part of Germany, the town was renamed to Pionersky after the Soviet Union annexed Kaliningrad Oblast in 1945 at the end of WWII. Wedged between Poland, Lithuania and the Baltic Sea, the Russian exclave boasts pristine beaches and is the largest exporter of amber in the world. Enjoy strolling along Pionersky's extensive waterfront for sweeping views of the sea, shopping for amber jewellery and other locally crafted goods or journey to the ruins of castles and forts from old Prussia.Day 4: Riga, Latvia
Welcome to the capital of Latvia! Riga is situated on the Baltic Sea and is regarded as one of the cultural hubs of Europe with countless museums and concert halls. The Old Town is car free, filled with local restaurants and shops whilst the bars and nightclubs of Livu Square come to life in the evenings.Day 5: Tallinn, Estonia
Not your typical stop on a European bucket list journey but boy is it worth it. The capital of Estonia impresses cruise guests with its mix of medieval houses, modern boutiques and café culture. Venture inside the ancient walls of Old Town to explore stunning Medieval landmarks like Toompea Castle and a 15th Century apothecary shop.Day 6-7: St. Petersburg, Russia
St. Petersburg has remained the cultural centre of Russia since its inception by namesake, Peter the Great. Astounding architecture, Tchaikovsky operas and the famous Kirov ballet are must see’s while staying overnight in this trans-formative city.Day 8: Helsinki, Finland
Helsinki is a classic sea-city, with a dramatic coastline coloured by bays and inlets. The city keeps its historical roots intact with it’s art and architectural beauty.Day 9: Klaipeda, Lithuania
Welcome to the only Lithuanian port. The historic centre is built in the typical fashion of the German medieval towns, including the square with the majestic clock tower. Visit the Curonian Spit and Trakai Castle or simply take a stroll and admire the beautiful buildings that line the cobblestone streets.Day 10: Gdynia, Poland
When you arrive in the Bay of Gdansk you come into the most fascinating region of the Baltic Sea and of Northern Europe. In Gydnia you'll find two interesting museum ships, the oceanographic museum, aquarium and Naval Museum. Or take an excursion to Gdansk, a city which, because of the importance of its port, has a very rich history.Day 11: Warnemünde (Berlin), Germany
Warnemünde will surprise you with its villas, hotels and the large white and silver beach. Its heart is Am Strom, next to the port, where the homes of old captains and fishermen have been turned into coffee shops and boutiques to explore.Day 12: Kiel, Germany
Kiel's series charmless indoor malls linked by pedestrian bridges is a beautiful feature of this German city once obliterated during WWII by bombing raids. Follow Kiel’s main thoroughfare, the pedestrianised Holstenstrasse, to the Schlossgarten to reach the waterfront, marvel here at new warships being built for nations worldwide, and all manner of ships big and small.Day 13: Copenhagen, Denmark
Welcome to the capital of Denmark! Explore this beautiful city filled with canals and cobble stone streets. Spend your day shopping, brush up on your history at the museums and sip on local coffee at one of the many cafes.
