Welcome to Las Vegas. On arrival at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport make your own way to your Las Vegas hotel.

Day 2: Las Vegas, Nevada (United States of America)

Day at leisure to explore Las Vegas is a city that must be seen to be believed. Las Vegas is a resort city famed for its vibrant nightlife, with 24-hour casinos and other entertainment options as its focal point. The infamous Strip is just over 4 miles long and filled with all things Vegas-esque. Home to themed hotels with elaborate displays such as fountains synchronised to music as well as replicas of an Egyptian pyramid, the Venetian Grand Canal, and the Eiffel Tower.

Day 3: Grand Canyon National Park, Nevada (United States of America)

Located in Arizona, Grand Canyon National Park encompasses 277 miles (446 km) of the Colorado River and adjacent uplands. The park is home to much of the immense Grand Canyon; a mile (1.6 km) deep, and up to 18 miles (29 km) wide. Layered bands of colorful rock reveal millions of years of geologic history. Grand Canyon is unmatched in the incomparable vistas it offers visitors from the rim.

Day 4: Miami (Florida), United States of America

On check out from your Las Vegas hotel, make your own way to the Las Vegas McCarran International Airport for your internal domestic flight to Miami.

Welcome to Miami! The Cuban influence of this city is evident through the many cafes and cigar shops situated in Little Havana. Spend a few hours down at the famous South Beach, explore the colourful art deco architecture, restaurants and invigorating nightclubs.

Day 5: Miami (Florida), United States of America

On check out from your Miami hotel, make your own way to the Miami Cruise Terminal for your 15 night Panama Canal: Mexico & Costa Rica to Los Angeles Norwegian cruise.

Day 8: Cartagena, Colombia

Welcome to Colombia! Cartagena is a centuries-old colonial walled town with a fascinating history of explorers, invasions and pirates. A mix of charming cobbled streets and open-air cafes in the old town, typical South American chaos in the outer-town and modern, luxurious restaurants along the Bocagrande – Cartagena’s fashionable beach-front district.

Day 9: Colon, Panama

It sits on the Caribbean coast, at the entrance to the Panama Canal. The Canal Expansion Observation Center is a park with viewing platforms over the canal’s Atlantic locks and Gatún Lake. The vast Colón Free Trade Zone offers tax-free shopping. Just west of the city, at the mouth of the Chagres River, Fort San Lorenzo is a well-preserved colonial military structure.

Day 10: Panama Canal, Panama

Marvel at your daylight transit of the Panama Canal. Known as the world’s biggest shortcut, the Panama Canal joins the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. Started by the French and completed by the USA on Panama’s land, the 48-mile canal was opened just over 100 years ago in 1914. Since then over 1-million ships have used the shortcut. On your journey through the canal, you will be able to see how the series of locks slowly elevate the ship up through the canal and back down again on the other side.

Day 12: Puntarenas, Costa Rica

Puntarenas (Puerto Caldera), Costa Rico Puntarenas in Costa Rica is our next stop, well-known for its fantastic rainforest, volcano and coffee plantation tours! The wildlife and natural scenery in Costa Rica is outstanding, keep an eye out for butterflies, birds and monkeys to name a few!

Day 13: San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua

Nicaragua, set between the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, is a Central American nation known for its dramatic terrain of lakes, volcanoes and beaches. Vast Lake Managua and the iconic stratovolcano Momotombo sit north of the capital Managua. To its south is Granada, noted for its Spanish colonial architecture and an archipelago of navigable islets rich in tropical birdlife.

Day 14: Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala

There are various tours available that take passengers to La Antigua, Auto Safari Chapin zoo, La Reunion world-class golf resort, and other various tour packages are offered specially created for cruise passengers. At the port, there is a market selling lots of crafts and souvenir items for those who choose not to take any tours inland. There is also several bars, hammocks to relax in, a restaurant, and performances from Marimba bands. The nearest town, San Jose, is about a mile away.

Day 18: Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Welcome to Cabo! There are plenty of shore excursions to choose from including whale watching, snorkelling, fishing and jet skiing. If you would prefer to entertain yourself head to Playa El Medano, Cabo’s main beach and enjoy lunch while doing a bit of celeb spotting. Or perhaps venture to the very end of the Baja peninsula to Lovers Beach and ‘El Arco’, Cabo’s iconic natural arch.
