Cruise Alaska, Caribbean, Mexican Riviera & more in complete style aboard Norwegian Joy! Undergoing a complete transformation earlier in 2019 this sister ship to Norwegian Bliss has completely redefined what it means to cruise on innovative ships that make you feel free!
Being the second ship in Norwegian Cruise Line’s Breakaway Plus class the Norwegian Joy boosts innovation, plush staterooms, and world-class amenities, surpassing the existing fleet of cruise ships.
Cruise goers will reap total happiness aboard this majestic vessel. Thrill-seekers rejoice with a 2-level race track & a virtual world in the Galaxy Pavilion. Those looking to relax are pampered in extravagance in the brand-new, first-rate Concierge Accommodation. Animal-lovers can make friends with the pod of whales playing alongside the ship. Those after a killer view will love The Waterfront dining promenade! Foodies will indulge their tastebuds sipping on their favourite cocktail as they select from choice cuts of Angus beef at Cagney’s Steakhouse.
Hear what Tara Kocass, My Cruises Product Manager had to say about her time on the Norwegian Joy:
I was fortunate to sail on Norwegian Joy on her inaugural sailing after she had completed her $50 million renovation in April 2019. Norwegian Joy has been revamped to be almost identical to her sister ship, Norwegian Bliss, with a complete overhaul of everything from the pool deck, the carpet and even the restaurants onboard to appeal to the western market as the ship is now based in the USA.
One of my favourite spaces on the ship is the Observation Lounge on deck 15. This space is climate controlled and provides unparalleled vistas of the breathtaking scenery around you – it could not be any more perfect for sailing through Alaska.
The entertainment is first class with the Tony Award nominated musical, Footloose being a crowd favourite. The food onboard is outstanding and widely available to cater for all tastes, with my personal two favourite venues on any ship cruise ship being onboard Norwegian Joy – Cagney’s Steakhouse and Sugarcane Mojito Bar.
True to its name, the Norwegian Joy is the place of ultimate delight. Explore our packages onboard the Norwegian Joy today
