Day 1: Zagreb, Croatia

You will be met at Zagreb Airport and transferred to your comfortable hotel at the country’s picturesque capital, Zagreb, the hub of the country’s cultural and economic infrastructure. Relax in the hotel and enjoy the facilities before exploring the vibrant city. Packed with art galleries, museums, restaurants and trendy cafes, Zagreb lives and breathes its historic importance. Made up of classicist and secessionist facades, leafy green shaded parks and delightful promenades, there is always an interesting nook or corner to discover and explore. Select one of the local restaurants to sample the delicious local delicacies on your first evening. Overnight in Zagreb

Day 2: Zagreb, Croatia

After a hearty breakfast, join our private guided walking tour of the city’s attractions and sights. As you meander through the cobblestone streets you will learn all about Zagreb’s rich and diverse history. Admire the magnificent Gothic architecture of the twin-spire Zagreb Cathedral and the charming and iconic 13th-century church of St Mark. During the afternoon, head for the main square of Ban Jelacic and soak up the atmosphere as you relax and watch the world go by. The pedestrianised zone of Tkalčićeva Street is lined with a huge variety of chic alfresco coffee bars, shops and restaurants. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 3: Zagreb – Slovenia – Opatija

Today we head off to the fascinating country of Slovenia with its scenic landscape, Baroque and Habsburg-inspired architecture, a charming rustic culture and emerald-green rivers and lakes will await. From the soaring peaks of the Julian Alps and the magnificent Lake Bled, Slovenia really does have it all. At the capital, Ljubljana, you will enjoy tour of the ancient Old Town, along the elegant curving banks of the Ljubljanica River, which divides this extraordinary city and is lined with chic terraced cafes. We will head further into the country to visit the majestic Lake Bled, a large shimmering blue-green lake with an enchanting islet and a dramatic mountainous backdrop. We then continue to the charming coastal Croatian town of Opatija and check into our hotel. Opatija has a rich history with elegant architecture, well-manicured parks and glamorous villas. Join the elite and take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque 12-km-long Riviera promenade, and relax in a café like a superstar. Overnight in Opatija.

Day 4: Opatija – Istria – Opatija

Today we venture off for a guided tour of the stunning Istria Peninsula visiting charming Rovinj, picturesque hilltop villages and with wine tasting thrown in. This is a fabulous tour of the Istria region through the mesmerising countryside with traditional villages that will overwhelm you with their beauty. You will get to sample the delicious local Istrian wines, founded on the family tradition of four generations of the Kozlovic family. You will also explore the delightful hilltop medieval fortified village of Motovun with its vibrant ambience and maze of cobbled streets full local of arts and crafts. A day tour where you will experience the ‘real’ Istria. You will visit the medieval fishing port of Rovinj with its cobbled streets and lofty steeple that dominates the skyline. Overnight in Opatija.

Day 5: Opatija – Plitvice Lakes National Park – Split

You will have an early departure from Opatija, checking out the hotel and then with a tour to the breathtaking UNESCO-listed Plitvice Lakes National Park. Admire the diversity of flora and fauna that inhabits the lush landscape of the forest reserve. Enjoy scenic views of stunning waterfall cascades from the wooden bridges and pathways and view the magnificent Veiiki Slap on our guided tour. Explore the 16 inter-connected, terraced crystal-clear lakes on a memorable electric boat ride. Then we continue to the Dalmatia coastline and to our luxury hotel in Split, Croatia’s 2nd city. Wander the cobbled streets, gazing up at the impressive architecture that covers some 2,000 years of history at this UNESCO World Heritage site and boasts an abundance of classic Roman architecture, which includes the splendid Diocletian Palace. Sample the delicious Dalmatian cuisine in one of the restaurants in the Old Town. Overnight in Split.

Day 6: Board the ship at Split

Enjoy a relaxed morning in the alluring city of Split, known for its fortress-like complex at its centre. Perhaps take a stroll to the varied beaches that range from sandy to pebbled, alternatively heading to the top of Sveti Djue Cathedral to take in the incredible view over the city and Adriatic sea from the bell tower. At approximately 1pm, you will be transferred to our deluxe ship for boarding. You can either relax on deck or join our entertaining walking tour of the Old Town with our expert local guide. Tonight is the welcome meet and greet cocktail reception on board where you will meet the Cruise Director, captain and all the friendly crew onboard.

Day 7: Split – Brac – Hvar

We sail off at breakfast time for the charming island of Brač and visit the famous Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape) beach near Bol. The quaint fisherman’s village of Bol offers an authentic Dalmatian welcome. After lunch at the Pakleni Islands we continue cruising towards the jet-set island of Hvar which is renowned for its stunning and fragrant fields of lavender. As we sail, we’ll stop so you can enjoy a refreshing dip in one of the secluded coves or bays. On arrival, we experience an inspirational guided walking tour of the town’s most popular landmarks including the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower, and the oldest community theatre in Europe. The town fort overlooks the harbour and offers stunning scenic views of the Pakleni islands. Hvar also has plenty of lively restaurants, bars and cafes. Overnight in Hvar.

Day 8: Hvar – Blue Cave – Vis

We cruise from Hvar to one of the cruise highlights, the Blue Cave, near the small island of Bisevo, only accessible by boat. It’s world-famous for the spellbinding event that occurs when the sunlight filters through the rock, touching the water and reflecting off the seabed, illuminating the interior in an otherworldly-like blue. We’ll sail on to the furthest inhabited island in Croatia, Vis. A true gem, an island that epitomises life in the Mediterranean, so much so that it was used as the filming site in the movie “Mamma Mia: 2. It is like visiting a place from another time with its charming fishing villages and uncrowded beaches. You can explore the fascinating ruins from the Roman and Greek periods, including Roman baths, along with magnificent villas and pretty churches that date back centuries. This afternoon, we have a fantastic wine-tasting experience at the Vidovic Winery where you will sample some of the delicious local wines. Overnight in Vis.

Day 9: Vis – Korcula

Today we head towards the striking island of Korčula, which is best known as the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Relax and admire the stunning secluded bays on route with a refreshing swim stop. The afternoon arrival in Korčula is followed by a guided walking tour of this charming Old Town. The quaint streets of Korcula’s Old Town are designed to replicate a fishbone, in order to reduce the effects of wind and sun and provide shelter. Korčula has plenty of lively restaurants where you can enjoy an authentic Croatian gourmet experience whilst enjoying a spectacular Adriatic sunset. An optional excursion to experience a typical Dalmatian dinner, and to discover the history and traditional way of life in Croatia, is also available. Overnight in Korcula

Day 10: Korcula – Mljet National Park

We continue further south towards the island of Mljet, which is also a picturesque National Park. Lunch is in one of the beautiful secluded bays on route. On arrival, you will have a gentle, guided tour through the park to the famous salt lakes, situated in the heart of the stunning Park. You will also enjoy a boat ride to the St Mary Isle, to visit the ancient Benedictine monastery and old abbey and church dating back to the 12th century. Alternatively, there are kayaks, bicycles and scooters for hire to explore the area surrounding the National Park. Overnight in Port Polača or Pomena in the Mljet National Park.

Day 11: Mljet National Park – Slano/ Ston

We sail after breakfast towards the charming little village of Slano, situated on the mainland. Relax on the deck and enjoy the stunning scenery and you’ll also get a chance to leap into those clear waters before we arrive to explore the town of Slano, a place inhabited since prehistoric times. We take a guided tour of the traditional fisherman’s village and then head towards the fortified town of Ston, to explore the town’s medieval ramparts and coastal beauty. Next is another treat – with a wooden gulet boat for a unique experience – to taste mouth wateringly fresh oysters, a local delicacy in Ston, all washed down with local brandy. Return to the ship for the Captain’s Dinner with live local entertainment. Overnight in Ston.

Day 12: Slano – Dubrovnik

We save the best to last as we sail over to Dubrovnik, one of the most beautiful UNESCO- listed cities in the world. Not even severe shelling in 1991 has managed to take its beauty away. Your knowledgeable, entertaining local guide will take you on a tour of the old town which is brimming with marbled streets, imposing medieval architecture and awe-inspiring defensive walls, churches and palaces. Visit the city gates (Pile, Ploce or Buza) and take a stroll down Stradun, the widest and longest street and admire Onofrio’s fountain. You’ll witness sights that include the 15th-century Rector’s Palace built in Gothic-Renaissance style, the baroque church of St. Blaise and the Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary. After enjoying the classic Renaissance architecture, you can opt to take the cable car from the Old Town to the top of Mount Srđ. From this mountain vantage point, you will appreciate spectacular scenic views of the ancient city walls and the Elaphiti Islands. Sample one of the many excellent local restaurants tonight in the Old Town of Dubrovnik whilst enjoying a final gorgeous sunset over the Adriatic. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 13: Departure from Dubrovnik

After bidding farewell to your fellow guests, Cruise Director, Captain and Crew, you will be transferred to Dubrovnik airport at the end of a very memorable cruise and tour of Croatia.
