Day 1 - 2: Venice, Italy

You could start a discussion about Venice by praising its restaurants, wine bars, marble churches or blown glass. But you probably won’t. You’ll likely start with the fact that Venice is built on water. It is a place where people either float slowly down palace-lined man-made waterways or stroll down narrow alleyways. Day 4: Split, Croatia

This Mediterranean city on the eastern shores of the Adriatic has a long and eventful history dating back to the awesome Diocletian’s Palace (circa 295 A.D.) in the centre of the city. Split offers cruise guests a wealth of exciting places to visit, from the majestic cathedral and marble streets in the centre of town to the harbour area with its cafe-filled promenades and views of coastal mountains.

Day 6: Athens, Greece

Welcome to Piraeus, the port city of Athens. It is the oldest city in Greece, a guaranteed highlight is the mystical Acropolis, perched high in the hills. Just because this city is vintage don’t think that you’ll be stuck in the past – it is juxtaposed against a modern city filled with shopping, restaurants, culture and beautiful art.

Day 7: Santorini, Greece

Santorini is one of the most formidable islands in the world, famed for beautiful food, pristine water and unrivalled sunsets, in the foreground are the post card whitewashed buildings. Perceptions are had about the lost city of Atlantis being located here due to Santorini’s subtle mystery.

Day 8: Heraklion (Crete), Greece

Wander the atmospheric old alleys, marvel at the massive Venetian walls and explore The Palace of KnossĂłs in this beautiful port city Heraklion - the capital of the Greek island of Crete.

Day 9: Rhodes, Greece

Rhodes is positioned off the coast of Turkey and blends history and beauty in to one. You are guaranteed to be in awe of the Grand Masters Palace and the old fortified city provides a great walk back in time.

Day 10: Limassol, Cyprus

Limassol – or Lemoses – is the second largest urban area in Cyprus, this is a bustling and vibrant city with plenty to offer. The compact centre snakes around an old castle, and is packed with boutiques, restaurants and bars.

Day 11 - 12: Suez Canal, Egypt

The Suez Canal connects the Mediterranean and Red Sea and was built by the Suez Canal Company back in 1869. It is one of the great innovations that has lasted into the modern world.

Day 13: Aqaba, Jordan

Aqaba has been inhabited since 4000 B.C., located on the Gulf of Aqaba in the Red Sea. Filled with countless beach resorts, the area is popular for water sports and home to incredible reef structures for scuba divers.

Day 14: Eilat, Israel

Welcome to Eilat, Isreal's resort town on the Red Sea. Eilat is home to some of the world's most spectacular coral reefs, so diving here is a must. If you're not up for a scuba dive, enjoy a swim in the turquoise waters on the numerous beaches and enjoy sitting back and spotting marine life, like dolphins. On the shore, adventure seekers can hike through spectacular desert scenery, and shoppers can enjoy a myriad of shopping destinations.

Victoria is one of the smallest & youngest capital cities in the world; founded as late as 1770. Its original colonial style can still be seen in the Palace of Justice & the Clock Tower of the Roundabout, a reduced-scale Big Ben. Visit the Victoria Botanical Garden it spans six hectares of land and is home to the Aldabra giant tortoises. Don’t miss out on the bazaar, a market offering typical local products. Have a local cocktail, at the Pirate’s Arms: located at the top of a hill, it is the most famous bar of the entire archipelago. Go on an excursion to the Sainte Anne Marine National Park, which covers six islands.

Port Louis is the capital city of Mauritius. Known for its French colonial architecture and the 19th-century Champ de Mars horse-racing track. The Blue Penny Museum focuses on the island’s colonial and maritime history & culture.

Day 28 : La Possession, Reunion

A magical island that will transport you to other worlds, is the perfect way to describe La Possession, Reunion. With an astonishing diversity of landscapes, jaw dropping mountains, forests, waterfalls, beaches and the world' most accessible active volcano; Piton de la Fournaise, it is every adventurers dream.

Visit the bazaars, alleyways and mosques that make up the Indian area around Dr Yusuf Dadoo Street.

Port Elizabeth situated along Algoa Bay in South Africa's Eastern Cape Province. A major port, it's also known for its numerous beaches. The Donkin Heritage Trail takes in the Old Hill neighbourhood's Victorian landmarks. Coastal boat tours spot whales & rare seabirds. Kragga Kamma Game Park is a small reserve within the Nelson Mandela Bay is home to elephants, rhinos, other big game & also offers cheetah encounters!

Day 37: Cape Town, South Africa

Cape Town is situated beneath the imposing Table Mountain. Slowly rotating cable cars climb to the mountain’s flat top, from which there are sweeping views of the city, the busy harbour & boats heading for Robben Island, the notorious prison that once held Nelson Mandela, which is now a living museum.

Grand and full of surprises, the MSC Opera offers 9 guest decks of luxury, entertainment, and panoramic views.
