Day 1 – 2 : Chicago, Illinois

Welcome to the Windy City! Chicago is one the largest cities in the U.S. Famed for its bold architecture, & it’s unique skyline. While you are there you will see the John Hancock Center, The Willis Tower – formerly the Sears Tower. The city is also renowned for its museums, Art Institute of Chicago. Take some time to try the famous deep dish Chicago style Pizza.

Day 3: Chicago – St. Louis

Travel across the fertile Illinois farmlands to St. Louis, “Gateway to the West.” An orientation tour includes a trip to the top of the GATEWAY ARCH National Park, which commemorates the city’s key role in westward expansion. Visit the museum under the Arch, celebrating Lewis & Clark’s famous expedition 200 years ago.

Day 4: St. Louis – Paducah – Nashville

Recross the Mississippi River today and roll southeast to Paducah on the Ohio River. Lateafternoon arrival in Nashville. (B)

Day 5: Nashville, Tennessee

Start the day with a sightseeing tour of Nashville’s famous landmarks and the Music Row recording studios. Tour historic RCA STUDIO B, Cradle of the “Nashville Sound” in the 1960s and where starts such as Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Eddy Arnold, Willies Nelson and the Everly Brothers recorded many of their hits. Afterward visit the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME with its glittering costumes, rare instruments and Elvis’ “solidgold” Cadillac! Tonight, enjoy reserved seating for a show at the world famous GRAND OLE OPRY, a mecca for country musicians.

Day 6: Nashville – Brownsville – Memphis

Visit the Tina Turner Museum in the one-room schoolhouse attended by a young Anna Mae Bullock (a.k.a Tina Turner). See the collection of the “Queen of Rock’s” memorabilia including costumes, gold records and even her high school yearbook! Afterward, cross Tennessee to Memphis, “Home of the Blues” and a city with a distinct Southern flavour. Enjoy an orientation tour on arrival and see where the film Walk the Line was filmed. Consider an optional excursion to Sun Studio , where rock n roll was fist recorded.

Day 7: Memphis (Visit to Graceland)

A good portion of the day is devoted to GRACELAND, Elvis Presley’s beautiful estate. Your guided audio tour focused on the memorial garden, and the opulent 15,000 square foot mansion. Return to Memphis mid-afternoon and if you haven’t already done so, get a taste of Memphis with some southern barbecue at central BBQ. Perhaps stop by the Gibson Guitar Factory for a tour or visit the National Civil Rights Museum. This evening, you may want to visit famous Beale Street, and explore the melting pot of delta blues, jazz, rock ‘n’ roll, R & B, and gospel.

Day 8: Memphis – Indianola – New Orleans

Today, make your way through the state of Mississippi. Visit the B.B. KING MUSEUM AND DELTA INTERPRETIVE centre. Discover the life of B.B. (Blues Boy) King, from his humble beginnings to his big break on Beale Street in Memphis, TN. An evening arrival in New Orleans allows the opportunity for exploring this lively city on your own.

Day 9 -10: New Orleans, Louisiana

A full morning is dedicated to the sights and sounds of New Orleans, featuring a guided tour that included the French Quarter landmarks, St Louis Cathedral, Jackson Square and a visit to the unique above ground cemetery. This afternoon join an optional tour of one of the many plantation homes in southern Louisiana. The architecture and beauty of these homes alone is impressive and the stories that go with them are even better. For shoppers, Canal Street and the French Quarter offer an array of specialty shops and boutiques . This evening, perhaps join in an optional Mississippi River dinner cruise aboard an authentic steamboat to enjoy a delightful buffet dinner, complete with live jazz – the perfect finale to a memorable touring adventure of the South.  Your tour ends this morning with a transfer to New Orleans Airport to board your flight to Miami for your 3 night pre cruise stay, before embarking on your Caribbean adventure onboard MSC Seashore

Day 10 – 13: Miami (Florida), United States of America

Welcome to Miami! The Cuban influence of this city is evident through the many cafes and cigar shops situated in Little Havana. Spend a few hours down at the famous South Beach, explore the colourful art deco architecture, restaurants and invigorating nightclubs. Embark your cruise on day 13 and begin your Caribbean adventure on MSC Seashore today.

Your day at sea will allow you to take full advantage of everything the ship has to offer. Seek out hidden treasures and make the most of the facilities onboard. Day 15: Ocho Rios, Jamaica

A quaint port town on Jamaica’s northern coast, it has transformed from a fishing village to a hotel hot spot and cruise ship harbour. You’ll also find a vast rainforest, rivers and waterfalls.

Day 16: George Town, Grand Cayman

Capital of the Cayman Islands, George Town is a financial hub and port of call for a majority of cruise ships. The National Museum is housed in a 19th-century building on Harbour Drive, with displays of local history, culture and wildlife.

Day 17: Cozumel, Mexico

Cozumel is very popular for it’s pristine scuba diving and snorkelling conditions, showcasing an abundance of reef structures and submerged sculptures. There is also an array of marine life including dolphins, turtles and manatees.
