Day 1: Hluhluwe Umfolozi National Park, South Africa

Upon arrival at King Shaka Airport, you will be met by an English-Speaking guide for your transfer to Hluhluwe. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2: Hluhluwe Umfolozi National Park, South Africa

Today you will try your luck to spot the Big 5, as you set out early morning for Full Day Game Drive in Hluhluwe National Park. Hluhluwe Umfolozi National Park is the oldest game reserve in South Africa, covering a region of 96.000 hectares. The wide range of plant life supports a diversity of mammals, birdlife, reptiles and amphibians. Besides the Big Five - elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino - there are elusive cheetah, rare wild dogs, several antelope species and various other bush inhabitants offering visitors an excellent Safari experience. The National Park contains some of the largest concentrations of black and white rhino in the world and more than 300 bird species which make it a bird watcher’s paradise. The Reserve offers visitors self-guided walks and countless routes for Safari drives. Viewing hides overlook waterholes enabling visitors to see animals at close range. In the afternoon you will travel to St Lucia, where you will start your safari experience with a Hippo & Croc Boat cruise. Your 2 Hour Hippo and Croc Boat Cruise is a 2-hour boat cruise on Lake St Lucia aboard the luxurious new double deck advantage cruiser passenger ferry. this boat has ample walking space for the avid photographer, it accommodates wheelchair access, it is baby and child-friendly and has comfortable upholstered seats. Services and amenities offered are from a qualified guide, skipper, and lifejackets.

Maputo is the capital of Mozambique. Home to a rich history of Portuguese colonial architecture, situated along the downtown Baixa neighborhood. Make a visit to the tranquil Tunduru Botanical Gardens or spend a few hours shopping at the Municipal Market.

Day 6: Portuguese Island, Mozambique

Welcome to this beautiful island, surrounded by crystal clear and refreshing water. Relax beach side, purchase locally made goods and head off snorkeling to make the most of your day here!
