Day 1 – 2: Tokyo, Japan
Tokyo, Japan’s busy capital, mixes the ultramodern and ancient traditions, crafting a city unlike anywhere else. In Tokyo, you can walk amongst neon-glowing skyscrapers and historical temples which make for a truly unmatched experience. Enjoy your two-night stay to explore the city.
Day 3: Yokohama, Japan
Embarkation Day. Set sail on your 12 Night Cherry Blossom Cruise from Yokohama Onboard Celebrity Solstice. Yokohama has completely transformed over the past few decades and is now one of Japan’s largest ports and the gateway to Tokyo.
Day 4: Shimizu, Japan
In the shadow of Mount Fuji, Shimizu is one of the most beautiful ports in Japan. Walkthrough the pine groves of Miho, home to a 650-year-old Japanese black pine, or enjoy spectacular views of Mount Fuji from the lush, forested hill of Nihondaira. Take in the seascapes on a bay cruise, or learn of undersea delights at Japan’s first sushi museum, and get a glimpse at feudal life in Japan in 200 BC at the archaeological site of Toro.
Day 5: Kyoto (Osaka), Japan
From temples, gardens, traditional teahouses, and Geisha’s, Kyoto is your step into Japanese culture. Use Kyoto as your gateway to Osaka as well. Osaka is renowned for its modern architecture, nightlife, and delicious street food. The 16th-century shogunate Osaka Castle has undergone countless restorations and remains the city’s most historical landmark.
Day 6: Kochi, Japan
Engage with locals and indulge in local flavours in this welcoming city. The city centre was initially settled in 1601 as a town surrounding Kochi Castle, which is now one of the region’s principal attractions. Discover the lovely Katsurahama beach area, where the Sakamoto Ryoma Memorial overlooks the sea and honors this legendary Japanese peace negotiator.
Day 7: Kagoshima, Japan
This city is the southernmost stop on the country’s bullet train. It is commonly referred to as Naples sister due to the comparative climate, palm tree-lined streets, and Kagoshima’s version of Mt Vesuvius! Plus an abundance of hot springs, mud baths, and spas definitely promote the serenity and relaxation of the traditional lands.
Day 8: At Sea
Enjoy a relaxing day at sea.
Day 9: Ishigaki, Japan
Immerse yourself in the coral reefs, scenic beaches, and lush mountains. Search for local textiles, pottery, crafts, and black pearls, and enjoy local meat-centered specialties in the town’s restaurants.
Day 10: Okinawa, Japan
Stunning, crystal clear waters will meet you in Okinawa. Browse through shops on Kokusai Street and see Shuri Castle for a history lesson. Take the next day to explore the beautiful limestone of the Gyokusen-do Cave and eat your way through the local cuisines.

Day 12: Jeju, South Korea
Hallasan, a dormant volcano, is the countries tallest mountain offering a large variety of walking tracks. The Manjang Cave, formed by cooling lava, is the world’s longest lava tube and is partially open for tours. Don’t miss the opportunity to sample fresh seafood dishes at a local restaurant.
Day 13: Nagasaki, Japan
With the city well known for its misfortune, there are many museums, monuments, and memorials dedicated to this. The rebirth of this city boasts a rich culinary scene that will excite your inner foodie, situated throughout its cobblestone streets and rolling hills.
