Iceland’s second largest city is home to integral ship ports and fishing centres. Enjoy a bustling nightlife and gourmet food amongst stunning snow-capped mountains and fjords or soak up robust folk culture. Whatever you choose, it will be memorable.

Day 9: Belfast, Northern Ireland

Explore Belfast's cultural quarters—the Cathedral Quarter, the Gaeltacht Quarter, the Queen’s Quarter and the Titanic Quarter—the former linen and shipbuilding epicentre. Here, where the Titanic was so carefully built, you can see beautifully restored Victorian architecture. Enjoy the true Irish experience at the lively waterfront, which is a friendly hub of live music, overflowing pubs and modern art.

Day 10: Cork (Cobh), Ireland

Ireland's third largest city is a wonderful walking city built on the River Lee. Visit St. Finn Barre's Cathedral, a wonderful, triple-spired example of French-gothic architecture, and spend some time in The Old Gaol, where original 19th century cells tell some fascinating tales.

Day 13: Bergen, Norway

Bergen is tucked in between seven fjords, seven mountains and the historic North Sea. This place was home to the Norwegian King and a number of historic events which will come to life through the old streets and ancient architecture.

Once you arrive in Alesund, you will notice the town's unique layout. Exceptionally built on islands that reach out to the seas and offer incredible views of the Sunnmore Alps and fjords. It is also the fishing capital of Norway so fresh seafood is guaranteed.

Day 15: Geiranger, Norway

Welcome to Geiranger! You'll be greeted by a quiet village which is home to the aforementioned Geiranger Fjord. The charming farms, waterfalls and mountainscapes add to the inescapable charm of this beautiful part of western Norway.

Day 16: Olden, Norway

Olden is a quaint village at the end of the Nordfjord is often known as the gateway to the glaciers. Situated between the biggest glacier in mainland Europe and Norway’s wildest stretch of coast at Stad, there is plenty of scenic experiences to access. Ride the Loen Skylift for unrivalled views of this magical fjord and surrounding mountains.

Day 17: Lerwick, Scotland

Lerwick is the main port of the Shetland Islands. Step back in time at the Shetland Museum and Scalloway Castle or be engrossed by the sheer size of natural cliffs and stunning scenery in Noss. Named a national nature reserve in 1955, Noss is just 3.4 square kilometres but hosts some of the best natural wonders in Scotland.
