Day 1: Yokohama, Japan

Day 6: Naha, Japan

Welcome to Nana the capital of the tropical Okinawa Prefecture. Nana is famous for the Shuri Castel, of the Ryukyu Kingdom & the birthplace of karate. The Tsuboya district is famous for its traditional ceramics & the main street Kokusaidori is lined with shops, restaurants & bars.

Day 7: Ishigaki, Japan

Immerse yourself in the coral reefs, scenic beaches and lush mountains. Search for local textiles, pottery, crafts and black pearls, and enjoy local meat-centred specialties in the town’s restaurants.

Day 8: Hualien, Taiwan

Hualien is the gateway to incredible scenery. Taroko National Park is home to lush forests, soaring cliffs and winding rivers. You’ll discover an abundance of wildlife including deers, boars, bears and birds spread throughout the park.

Day 9: Keelung, Taiwan

Welcome to Keelung! Absorb the ambience of the ornate, dragon-adorned Mengjia Longshang Temple or witness the changing of the guard at Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, a must-see site.

Day 11: Kagoshima, Japan

This city is the southernmost stop on the country’s bullet train. It is commonly referred to as Naples sister due to the comparative climate, palm tree lined streets and Kagoshima’s version of Mt Vesuvius! Plus an abundance of hot springs, mud baths, and spas definitely promote the serenity and relaxation of the traditional lands.

Day 12: Hososhima (Miyazaki), Japan

Miyazaki is filled with, enticing beaches & has one of Japan’s warmest climates surfers flock to its rugged coast to enjoy some of Japans best waves. Miyazaki is also an extremely historic area see Mimitsu traditional buildings & cobblestoned streets as you explore the city. Omi Shrine is said to be home to the Japanese sun goddess, & Miyazaki Shrine, set on what was believed to be the birthplace of Japan’s mythical first emperor, Jimmu.

In the shadow of Mount Fuji, Shimizu is one of the most beautiful ports in Japan. Walk through the pine groves of Miho, home to a 650-year-old Japanese black pine, or enjoy spectacular views of Mount Fuji from the lush, forested hill of Nihondaira. Take in the seascapes on a bay cruise, or learn of undersea delights at Japan's first sushi museum, and get a glimpse at feudal life in Japan in 200 BC at the archaeological site of Toro.

The blooming season is eagerly anticipated in Japan every year.  Traditionally the Cherry Blossom season passes through the centre of Japan in March & April. As the Cherry Blossom blooms are dependent on climatic conditions, viewing months can vary.
