Day 2: Naples, ItalyCruise to Naples, located on Italy’s stunning Amalfi coast, a city embellished in history. Touring around Naples’ grand piazzas, cathedrals and castles in the old centre will fill that cultural need. Pompeii is not too far either, a dashing city which boasts diverse cultural offerings and charming streets.
Day 3: At SeaLet the luxury and adventure continue onboard! Spend your day lazing by the sprawling pools, impressing the thrill-seekers with endless family-friendly activities, indulging your tastebuds at the elaborate dining district, sipping cocktails at the chic bars and being amazed as you relish world-class live entertainment. Day 4: Santorini, GreeceSantorini is one of the most formidable islands in the world, famed for beautiful food, pristine water and unrivalled sunsets, in the foreground are the post card whitewashed buildings. Perceptions are had about the lost city of Atlantis being located here due to Santorini’s subtle mystery.
Day 5: Kusadasi (Ephesus), TurkeyEphesus was an ancient Greek city on the coast of Iona in Turkey. It is said that this city of Ephesus was created by Androclosthe son of the king of Athens. Take a trip to see the 10th-century ruins there including the Temple of Artemis a shrine of the goddess Artemis. Ephesus is also said to be home the House of Virgin Mary, as well as the St John Basilica.
Day 6: Crete, GreeceA beautiful city located on the island of Crete, Chania has quite the historic past. Greeks, Venetians, Christians, Moors and Ottomans battled throughout the years for control of this sea side spot. The various cultures have shaped the city that stands today, offering a bonus deal for anyone visiting.
Day 7: Athens, GreeceWelcome to Piraeus, the port city of Athens. It is the oldest city in Greece, a guaranteed highlight is the mystical Acropolis, perched high in the hills. Just because this city is vintage don’t think that you’ll be stuck in the past – it is juxtaposed against a modern city filled with shopping, restaurants, culture and beautiful art.
Day 8: Nafplion, GreeceSituated a few hours drive from Athens, this charming seaport town will make you feel like you’re on an island. Beautiful beaches, delicious dining, shopping and friendly locals will ensure that you’re time here is full of cultural enrichment.
Day 9: Olympia, GreeceThis quaint little seaside town on the Ionian Sea is the gateway to Ancient Olympia, where Greek mythology was born and the first Olympiad was held. You may still be able to hear the distant echoes of the ancient Greeks cheering as you tour the ruins of one of the most important and exciting sanctuaries of antiquity.
Day 10: Corfu, GreeceOne of the lushest of the Greek Isles, Corfu is rimmed in dramatic blue waters and topped with tranquil hillside villages. A collection of quaint cafes in the town of Corfu feels very continental, but the island’s secluded coves and sandy beaches could only be found in the Greek Isles.
Day 11: Kotor, MontenegroWelcome to this beautiful port town in Montenegro. Gaze upon terracotta roofs, clear waters and fresh local seafood right by the sea. This is the perfect destination to sit back and relax amongst the towering mountains of Montenegro.
Day 12-13: Venice, ItalyYou could start a discussion about Venice by praising its restaurants, wine bars, marble churches or blown glass. But you probably won’t. You’ll likely start with the fact that Venice is built on water. It is a place where people either float slowly down palace-lined man-made waterways or stroll down narrow alleyways.
