The small island was made famous by the 2001 film, Castaway, starring Tom Hanks and his spherical counterpart. The 100 acre island can be trekked on foot in a short amount of time or spend a few hours snorkelling amongst the beautiful coral reefs.Day 2: Soso Bay, Fiji
Cruising aboard the Fiji Princess today en-route to Soso Bay will offer the chance to swim with sharks (weather permitting) on a secret reef. Once in Soso you will have a chance to visit the village and meet some of the locals. Tonight aboard the ship will be Bollywood themed. Look forward to a traditional Thali dinner, accompanied by Bollywood movies and dancing.Day 3: Naukacuvu Island, Fiji
Before leaving Soso there will be a chance to attend the local village church service. After church the cruise continues south to Naukacuvu Island. The Blue Lagoon Cruises Crew will prepare a traditional Sunday roast for lunch on board the boat, followed by a Fijian cooking lesson in the afternoon. This evenings dinner will be an Asian themed buffet followed by a ‘Fiji style’ bingo night with lots of great prizes to be won.Day 4: Sacred Islands, Fiji
Today aboard the Fiji Princess you will visit the Sacred Islands, the perfect location for swimming, snorkelling and enjoying the warm Fijian water. There will be another cooking lesson on offer today, learning how to make Fijian Roti in Lolo, followed by Fijian style high tea. Join the Blue Lagoon Cruises crew for happy hour drinks on the beach and a coconut bowls tournament.Day 5: Blue Lagoon, Fiji
Settle in to Blue Lagoon Cruise’s very own private island beach! Famed for its beautiful snorkelling spots, you will be treated to a day of reef induced relaxation and treated to happy hour on shore while enjoying a traditional Lovo meal later in the evening. Dine amongst the stars and coconut trees in your very own paradise while singing, dancing and local storytelling unfolds around you.Day 6: Sawa-i-Lau Island, Fiji
Start your day with a relaxing, guided walk with breathtaking island views. Wander around the local shell market, try your hand at basket weaving, traditional woodcarving or another scenic snorkel. Lunch will then be served on-board the ship as you travel to the Sawa-i-Lau caves for exploration. Spend the night amongst the Tamasua tribe where you will enjoy traditional food, culture and be welcomed in to their home land.Day 7: Drawaqa Island, Fiji
A very insightful Marine Biologist will hop on-board and educate you about local marine life and the conversation work, continually being upheld in the region. Luckily you have visited in a unique period where you can go snorkelling with Manta Rays who are only around in May to October! Other activities such as an insight in to the local island school where Vinaka Fiji Volunteers work or for something more daring, an abseiling experience reaching down to the stunning sea below. You will be treated to a barbecue under the stars this evening.Day 8: Cruise back to Denarau
Enjoy your last day aboard the Fiji Princess with breakfast as we cruise back to Port Denarau, you will be serenaded with the traditional Isa Lei farewell song on your final journey.
