Day 1: Tokyo, Japan

Of all Japan's iconic images, Mt Fuji (3776m) is the real deal. Fuji-san was granted Unesco World Heritage status in 2013; these days, around 300,000 people make the ascent every year.Day 3 - 4: Kyoto (Osaka), Japan
From temples, gardens, traditional teahouses and Geisha's, Kyoto is your step into Japanese culture. Use Kyoto as your gateway to Osaka as well. Osaka is renown for its modern architecture, nightlife and delicious street food. The 16th-century shogunate Osaka Castle has undergone countless restorations and remains as the city’s most historical landmark.Day 5: Kochi, Japan
Engage with locals and indulge in local flavours in this welcoming city. The city centre was initially settled in 1601 as a town surrounding Kochi Castle, which is now one of the region's principal attractions. Discover the lovely Katsurahama beach area, where the Sakamoto Ryoma Memorial overlooks the sea and honors this legendary Japanese peace negotiator.Day 6: Hiroshima, Japan
While paying tribute to the infamous nuclear attack that destroyed the city in 1945, Hiroshima is now defined as a beacon of peace and prides itself on its exceptional natural beauty. None more iconic than 300 cherry blossom trees in bloom at Peace Memorial Park and enjoy local delicacies.Day 7: At Sea
Your day at sea will allow you to take full advantage of everything the ship has to offer. Seek out hidden treasures and make the most of the facilities onboard. All of the ships activities can be found on the vessels daily newsletter. If relaxation is on your mind then your sea day will allow you to sit back, soak in ship life and watch the world as it floats by you.Day 8: Nagasaki, Japan
With the city well known for its misfortune, there are many museums, monuments and memorials dedicated to this. The rebirth of this city boasts a rich culinary scene that will excite your inner foodie, situated throughout its cobblestone streets and rolling hills.Day 9: Busan, South Korea
It is Busan’s trading port that makes it an international metropolis while its beautiful sea vistas make it a charming place to unwind. Experience the serenity of Beomeo-sa Temple, climb the Busan Tower or rejuvenate at Hushimchung Spa.Day 10: At Sea

If Japan ever had a wild west, it was Hokkaido. Oh, all the classic movie stuff of samurai bashing each other with swords never made it this far north, but the image of the West—open spaces, places to disappear, actual land horizons (which no other island in Japan has)—lingers.Day 12: Aomori, Japan
Here, nature and culture fuse as one. The Shirakami Mountains, which embrace the world's largest virgin forest of beech trees, have been awarded a World Heritage Site designation. Reminders of ancient times abound throughout Aomori Port as well, and you can also indulge in the serene atmosphere of the Sannai-Maruyama Ruins, Japan's largest, which are said to have been established around 4,000 to 5,000 BC. Stroll Aomori’s premiere Shinsen Ichiba seafood market where restaurateurs hand-pick fresh produce then slurp up delicious ramen noodles at one of its counter restaurants.Day 13: At Sea
