You’re also spoilt for choice with the Guggenheim and the Met. Your cruise embarkation is from Cape Liberty Cruise Port, New Jersey. The Cape Liberty Cruise Port is one of three trans-Atlantic passenger terminals in the Port of New York and New Jersey. It is located in Bayonne, New Jersey at the north side of the 2 mi long pier of the Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor, a former military ocean terminal, and began operations in 2004.

Day 3: Halifax, Nova Scotia

The city’s dominated by the hilltop Citadel, a star-shaped fort completed in the 1850s. Halifax was long defined by naval operations. The 18th-century Citadel still stands guard, but today overlooks a thriving city whose restored waterfront features historic architecture, shops, museums, bars, restaurants and more.

To the southeast, the hot springs at Uunartoq sit beside a bay dotted with icebergs.

Day 9: Prins Christian Sund (Scenic Cruising), Denmark

Named for King Christian VIII of Denmark, this dramatic fjord separates the southernmost islands from the rest of South Greenland, a land of jagged mountains and green pastures where sheep farms border icy fjords and Norse history intersects with modern communities. Prince Christian Sound presents beautiful scenery for cruising, with mountains reaching 4,000 feet, glaciers inching toward the sea, and tidal currents that limit the formation of ice.
