Day 1 -2: Quebec City, Canada

Québec City sits on the Saint Lawrence River in Canada's mostly French-speaking Québec province. The Petit Champlain district’s cobblestone streets are lined with bistros and boutiques. The city's landmarks include the Château Frontenac, a hotel which dominates the skyline, and the Citadelle of Quebec, an intact fortress that forms the centrepiece of the ramparts surrounding the old city and includes a secondary royal residence.

Day 3: At Sea

Day 4: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

Charlottetown is the capital of Canada’s Prince Edward Island. The Province House National Historic Site hosted the Charlottetown Conference of 1864, spurring the country’s birth. Victoria Row has shops, restaurants and the Confederation Centre of the Arts. Nearby is the Gothic Revival St. Dunstan’s Basilica.

Day 5: Sydney, Nova Scotia

By the water, the Big Fiddle is a huge violin statue honouring local music. Wooden 18th-century buildings include the Cossit and Jost houses, now museums with period furniture. St. Patrick’s Church Museum showcases local history in an 1828 church. East, at Glace Bay, the Cape Breton Miners’ Museum explores the area’s coal-mining heritage.

Day 6: Halifax, Nova Scotia

The city’s dominated by the hilltop Citadel, a star-shaped fort completed in the 1850s. Halifax was long defined by naval operations. The 18th-century Citadel still stands guard, but today overlooks a thriving city whose restored waterfront features historic architecture, shops, museums, bars, restaurants and more.

Day 7: Saint John, New Brunswick (Bay of Fundy)

Known for the Reversing Rapids, a phenomenon caused by bay tides colliding with the Saint John River. Food and craft stalls fill the Saint John City Market, in an 1876 building. On a peninsula nearby, trails wind through Irving Nature Park’s salt marshes, volcanic rock and forests. The 1913 Imperial Theatre stages plays, concerts and dance.

Day 8: Portland, Maine

The Old Port waterfront features working fishing wharves and converted warehouses with restaurants and shops. Nearby, the Western Promenade is a public park atop a bluff, offering river and mountain views. Its surrounding district, the West End, is full of Victorian-era homes, including the Victoria Mansion museum.

Day 9: Bar Harbour, Maine

Bar Harbor is a town on Mount Desert Island along Maine’s Frenchman Bay. It serves as a gateway to the mountains and cliffs of neighboring Acadia National Park. Towering over the park, Cadillac Mountain has trails and views of the town, the bay and the Cranberry Islands. Sand Beach is ringed by mountains.

Day 10: Boston, Massachusetts

Boston is Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Founded in 1630, it’s one of the oldest cities in the U.S. The key role it played in the American Revolution is highlighted on the Freedom Trail, a 2.5-mile walking route of historic sites that tells the story of the nation’s founding. Immerse yourself in US history while visiting Paul Revere's house.

The new hot spot, Universal Orlando, is home to Universal studios and Harry Potter World which makes for a fun day out.

Capital of the Cayman Islands, George Town is a financial hub and port of call for a majority of cruise ships. The National Museum is housed in a 19th-century building on Harbour Drive, with displays of local history, culture and wildlife.

Day 17: Costa Maya, Mexico

Costa Maya is a popular port in Mexico's eastern Yucatan Peninsula, filled with beaches and coral reefs. You'll find a confounding mix of wildlife with marine animals such as sharks, dolphins, turtles and jaguars, monkeys and bird species to the north.

Day 18: Cozumel, Mexico

Cozumel is very popular for it’s pristine scuba diving and snorkelling conditions, showcasing an abundance of reef structures and submerged sculptures. There is also an array of marine life including dolphins, turtles and manatees.
