Day 3 – 4: Paris, France

This morning you will take a scenic rail journey from Barcelona to Paris for your two-night hotel stay. Located along the Seine River, Paris is a collection of villages and the sprawl of cobbled lands. Galleries, bistros, and boutiques all line the boulevards of Paris. The city of romance is alive and awaits you to explore its treasures.

Day 5 – 6: London, England

Today you will embark on the EuroStar for your rail transfers from Paris to London for your two-night hotel stay. Renowned as one of the oldest of the world’s great cities – its history spanning nearly two millennia – and one of the most cosmopolitan and most visited cities. Immersed in history, London’s rich seams of eye-opening antiquity are everywhere. The city’s buildings are striking milestones in a unique and beguiling biography, and a great many of them – the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben – are instantly recognisable landmarks. London has something for everyone: from history and culture to fine food and good times.

Day 7: Southampton, England

Only a short journey from London with easy access via, train, car, or coach you will arrive in the bustling port of Southampton, the UK’s number one cruise port. Get ready to set sail on your 11 Night Cruise from London to Iceland Onboard the Brand New Norwegian Prima.

Day 8: Zeebrugge, Belgium

Zeebrugge is a Belgian port and seaside resort. It’s linked to the city of Bruges by the Baudouin Canal. The old fish market in the marina houses Seafront, a theme park focusing on the local seafaring and fishing heritage. Exhibits include a Russian submarine. In nearby Knokke-Heist, the For Freedom Museum evokes the area’s WWII history through dioramas. West along the coast are the De Fonteintjes wetland and dunes.

Day 9: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Amsterdam has been constructed entirely on stakes to sit above the cities water level. The Anne Frank House, The Hague, and a Delft Blue Pottery Factory are merely a few of the sights that await your arrival in this beautifully eclectic city.

Day 10: At Sea

Your day at sea will allow you to take full advantage of everything the ship has to offer. Seek out hidden treasures and make the most of the facilities onboard. All of the ship’s activities can be found in the vessel’s daily newsletter. If relaxation is on your mind then your sea day will allow you to sit back, soak in ship life and watch the world as it floats by you.

Day 11: Bergen, Norway

Bergen is tucked in between seven fjords, seven mountains, and the historic North Sea. This place was home to the Norwegian King and a number of historic events which will come to life through the old streets and ancient architecture.

Day 12: Geiranger, Norway

Welcome to Geiranger! You’ll be greeted by a quiet village that is home to the aforementioned Geiranger Fjord. The charming farms, waterfalls, and mountainscapes add to the inescapable charm of this beautiful part of western Norway.

Day 13: Alesund, Norway

Once you arrive in Alesund, you will notice the town’s unique layout. Exceptionally built on islands that reach out to the seas and offer incredible views of the Sunnmore Alps and fjords. It is also the fishing capital of Norway so fresh seafood is guaranteed.

Day 14: At Sea

Enjoy a relaxing day at sea.

Day 15: Isafjordur, Iceland

Welcome to Isafjordur, home to towering peaks of untouched wilderness. The prosperous fishing town was formed by ancient volcanoes and settled in the ninth century by Vikings. Explore the narrow streets and 18th-century timber structures that fill the town then spend some time learning about the region’s history. If you’re feeling active then take part in horseback riding, bird watching, kayaking, or hiking in the hills.

Day 16: Akureyri, Iceland

Iceland’s second-largest city is home to integral ship ports and fishing centres. Enjoy a bustling nightlife and gourmet food amongst stunning snow-capped mountains and fjords or soak up the robust folk culture. Whatever you choose, it will be memorable.

Day 17 – 18: Reykjavik, Iceland

Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital and largest city was settled in 877 AD and has grown into an integral seaport and government hub. Even though it is a considerably advanced and progressive destination, it still uses water from nearby geysers to heat all of its buildings.
