Day 1- 2: Edinburgh, Scotland

Welcome to the capital of Scotland! This hilly city boasts a preserved, medieval Old Town and an invigorating Georgian New Town with stunning gardens. Edinburgh Castle keeps watch over the city, withholding Scotland’s crown jewels and the Stone of Destiny which is used in the coronation of Scottish rulers. A must visit is Calton Hill, topped with historic memorials and monuments.

Day 3: Invergordon, Scotland

A popular port of call, Invergordon combines a superb natural setting of mountains, tumbling waterfalls, rushing rivers, magnificent gardens, and serene lochs—including Loch Ness and its famous resident. Some must-sees include the castles Dunrobin and Cawdor (reportedly Macbeth’s castle), the flower displays of Beauly, Culloden Battlefield, Shin Falls, Inverness, and Glenmorangie Distillery.

Day 4: At Sea

Let the luxury and adventure continue onboard! Spend your day lazing by the sprawling pools, impressing the thrill-seekers with endless family-friendly activities, indulging your tastebuds at the elaborate dining district, sipping cocktails at the chic bars and being amazed as you relish world-class live entertainment. There is so much to see and do onboard, you’ll be begging for more days at sea!

Day 5: Londonderry, Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland’s second largest city, Derry’s ancient walls hide a saga of strength and struggle. Today this emerging cosmopolitan city is complete with quaint restaurants, hearty pubs, and fantastic independent shops. Walk along river Foyle and take in the stunning Peace Bridge. Tour the city’s ancient walls and explore its historic buildings. Or, travel to the Counties Londonderry and Donegal for a bounty rolling hillsides and natural splendour.

Day 6: Belfast, Northern Ireland

Explore Belfast's cultural quarters—the Cathedral Quarter, the Gaeltacht Quarter, the Queen’s Quarter and the Titanic Quarter—the former linen and shipbuilding epicentre. Here, where the Titanic was so carefully built, you can see beautifully restored Victorian architecture. Enjoy the true Irish experience at the lively waterfront, which is a friendly hub of live music, overflowing pubs and modern art.

Day 7: Glasgow (Greenock), Scotland

Visit Glasgow, the beautiful port city on the River Clyde. Glasgow is famous for its Victorian art, nouveau architecture from the rich legacy left over from the city's 18th–20th-century prosperity. Glasgow is a cultural hub, home to the Scottish Opera, Scottish Ballet & National Theatre of Scotland. Take time to enjoy this city's thriving music scene & don't forget to vist Glasgow's acclaimed museums.

Day 8: Douglas, Isle of Man

Take a trip back in time when you arrive in Douglas on the Isle of Man. Horse-drawn trams guide travellers through scenic sea-front streets just as locals have been doing since 1876. Visit medieval fortresses, abandoned castles (haunted by a ghost dog, as the legend goes), and the village of Cregneash, where residents live in authentic thatched cottages that harken back to a bygone era.

Day 9: Liverpool, England

With a history that dates back more than 800 years, Liverpool has been a major port for centuries. The awe-inspiring architecture, and amazing restaurants are just the beginning of this exciting city. The art scene is probably best known for the Beatles, and you can visit where it all began for them. The amazing galleries, theatres and museums make Liverpool a cultural capital.

Day 10 : Dublin, Ireland

Dublin is thought to be almost a thousand years old, but the city has transitioned seamlessly into the 21st century. Must-do’s include Trinity College, St. Stephen’s Green Park, Newgrange, Dublin Castle, the National Museum of Ireland and the James Joyce Cultural Centre. No visit to Dublin would be complete without a pint of Guinness on a relaxing afternoon.

Day 11: Waterford, Ireland

Waterford is Ireland’s oldest settlement which was founded in 914 A.D. by Vikings. Ancient walls still stand, providing a beautiful picture looking back in time. The Waterford Crystal factory has been crafting elegant crystal creations since 1783.

Day 12: St. Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands

Experience the best of England and France in Guernsey. Take in postcard-worthy views of brightly coloured houses, idyllic gardens, and cliffside paths from St. Peter Port. When the sightseeing is over, stop at one of the many bistros for an unforgettable meal. Then, spend some time shopping in the up-and-coming boutiques for the perfect souvenir.

Day 13: Southampton, England

Welcome to the bustling port of Southampton where you can venture to nearby London and make the most of your day. See London’s highlights including Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, more pubs than you could poke a stick at and an array of markets including Spitalfield.

Welcome on board Azamara Journey! Refurbished in 2016, this vessel accommodates just under 700 passengers across her five opulent decks.
