Much like her Radiance Class sister ships, Jewel of the Seas is home to open spaces and panoramic views. Lap up relaxation at the Vitality Spa or six pools, get active on the mini-golf course or rock climbing wall, explore an array of dining options including the Main Dining Room, Seaview Cafe or treat yourself to the Chops Grille steakhouse and Portofino Italian restaurant. There are plenty of activities for the kids as well as entertainment and shopping, fit for the whole family.

Day 1: Seward, Alaska

Seward is a port city in southern Alaska, acting as a gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park, where glaciers flow from the Harding Icefield into coastal fjords. Surrounded by peaks, the fjords are a whale habitat and afford visitors the memories of a lifetime.

Day 2: Hubbard Glacier (Cruising)

With its dramatic and vast 7-mile-wide face, and ever-changing wall of ice, the Hubbard Glacier is a guaranteed bucket list item that will be etched in to the mind of every Alaskan visitor.

Day 3: Icy Strait Point, Alaska

Icy Strait Point offers travellers the chance to view stunning wildlife like humpback whales, orcas, seals, eagles, and brown bears. You can then explore monuments of the region’s fishing heritage.

Day 4: Juneau, Alaska

The only state capital in the USA that can only be reached by boat or seaplane. With no road access and its extreme remote location, the wildlife and wilderness in Juneau are second to none! Go sea kayaking, pan for gold, visit a salmon hatchery, or take a whale watching trip. Don’t miss the Mendenhall Glacier and a glimpse back to the ice-age!

Day 4: Sawyer Glacier, Alaska (Cruising)

One of the highlights of this cruise is exploring Glacier Bay National Park. Comprised of 3.3 million acres of natural wonders, it is home to magnificent glaciers (especially Sawyer Glacier), snow-capped mountains and abundant birds and wildlife.

Day 5: Skagway, Alaska

Gold was discovered nearby in 1896, causing Skagway to grow quickly. You can see gold rush era buildings preserved in the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. Another activity from this period, the Yukon Route Rail Road will take you on a vintage locomotive tour of the area with fantastic views out over the mountains.

Day 6: Ketchikan, Alaska

Today’s adventure brings us to Ketchikan, another fascinating location on the Alaskan coast. Visit a Native American village, watch a lumberjack show, take a trip to the Misty Fjords or go crab fishing!

Day 7: Inside Passage, Alaska (Cruising)

Enjoy the breathtaking scenery as you make your way towards Vancouver back down the inside passage. Camera at the ready for the stunning waterfalls, thick green forests and glaciers emerging from the mountainsides.

Day 8: Vancouver, British Columbia

Explore Canada’s cosmopolitan city of Vancouver! Relax in Stanley Park, have dinner in the second Largest China Town in North America, or take a day tour up to the mountains and see more of Canada’s spectacular West Coast!

Day 9: Vancouver, British Columbia

Spend your first Rocky Mountaineer day exploring the beautiful city of Vancouver.

Day 10: Vancouver to Kamloops

Today you’ll venture to Kamloops, a journey filled with dramatic scenery. Your journey switches between lush greenery in Fraser Valley, winding rivers set amongst the Coast and Cascade Mountains as well as the desert landscape of British Columbia.

Day 11: Kamloops to Jasper

Today you’ll head to the province of Alberta, following the Canadian Rockies. Witness the highest peak of the Rockies, Mount Robson as well as Pyramid Falls and venture in to Jasper National Park.

Day 12: Jasper Highlights

Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Jasper, visiting the extraordinary wilderness of the region.

Day 13: Jasper to Banff

Venture to Banff along one of the most scenic paths in the world. Make the most of a full day exploring the drastic glaciers and stunning ice fields of Icefields Parkway. Enjoy a complimentary journey on the Ice Explorer to the centre of Athabasca Glacier. You’ll be able to rest up afterwards in Banff and prepare for tomorrow’s adventure.

Day 14: Yoho Park Banff to Lake Louise

Take an incredible sightseeing tour of Yoho Park and venture to your next stop of Lake Louise.

Day 15: Lake Louise to Calgary

Begin your day exploring Banff with visits to Bow Falls, Lake Minnewanka and Surprise Corner. One of the highlights of your trip is the Panoramic Helicopter Tour which takes place this afternoon before settling in to your accommodation in Calgary.

Day 16: Calgary, Canada

You have now reached the final destination and will check out of your hotel in the morning, with the rest of your day free to explore and continue your journey to new cities at your leisure.
