Mediterranean and Northern Spain Medley Cruise Itinerary

Welcome to the cultural hub of Barcelona, the capital of Spain! Explore the stunning sights such as the Sagrada Familia and enjoy the local tapas for some truly delicious cuisine. It’s now time to board Vision of the Seas and enjoy your 12 night Mediterranean cruise!
Welcome to the colourful cosmopolitan city of Nice. Explore the beautiful architecture of the Old Town and the modern embodiment of French Riviera style throughout. A standout monument is the 19th century cathedral which houses the Princess of Monaco, otherwise known as Grace Kelly.
Today you’ll have the opportunity to snap that perfect picture, supporting the Leaning Tower of Pisa then enjoying a pizza. Travel to Florence for more delicious Italian cuisine, be enamoured by the Duomo and Michelangelo’s “David” statue right before the beautiful sunset over the Arno River.
Endless adventures await in Rome. With two and a half thousand years of history, art and culture, it is no wonder Rome is one of the most visited cities on the planet. Gaze at the masterpieces of the Vatican or walk into the past with visits to ancient relics, historic monuments and legendary museums. Or people-watch while sipping on an espresso in a quaint cafe.
Cruise to Naples, located on Italy’s stunning Amalfi coast, a city rich in history. A tour around Naples’ grand piazzas, cathedrals and castles in the old centre will take you back centuries. Pompeii is not too far either, a dashing city which boasts diverse cultural offerings and charming streets.
If adventure is your middle name then test your strength on the rock climbing wall or maybe a day of tranquility is more up your alley. Relax with a variety of spa treatments and laze back by the outdoor pool with a beverage or two.
You could start a discussion about Venice by praising its restaurants, wine bars, marble churches or blown glass. But you probably won’t. You’ll likely start with the fact that Venice is built on water. It is a place where people either float slowly down palace-lined man-made waterways or stroll down narrow alleyways. There’s no more of an extraordinary place to find yourself, or lose yourself.
Symbolic with 5th-6th century architecture, Ravenna is home to Christian mosaic churches and incredible buildings on every street. You’re perfectly based to explore the delicious cuisine of Bologna and the scenic republic of San Marino.
Welcome to this beautiful port town in Montenegro. Gaze upon terracotta roofs, clear waters and fresh local seafood right by the sea. This is the perfect destination to sit back and relax amongst the towering mountains of Montenegro.
Dining with Royal Caribbean is much more than just eating, whether you’re after a group dining experience, 5 star masterpieces or just a casual bite to eat. Vision offers ambience, variety and flexibility at any time.
Welcome back to Barcelona. Now is your chance to explore everything you ran out of time to do at the start e.g. more tapas! Time to disembark but luckily you have complimentary accommodation in the city before commencing your land journey across Northern Spain.

Mediterranean and Northern Spain Medley Land Itinerary

Start in the bustling city of Barcelona before making your way to El Puerto De La Selva for a complimentary welcome dinner. On your way, you’ll stop by Girona for a tour of the old town and some delicious tapas (if you have time).
Uncover the Salvador Dalí house-museum in Port Lligat which is a combination of fisherman’s cabins and offers a step back in time. You’ll then have some free time in the elegant and artsy town of Cadaques. Day three sees you traversing the shores of Costa Brava and an exploration of Besalu. This small region boasts incredible Roman architecture, you’ll also visit Ripoll on your way to Cardona.
Check out Salt Mountain where you’ll be treated to a tour of one of the world’s most integral salt mines. Enjoy free time in the 11th century town and learn about the dukes of Cardona, otherwise known as the ‘kings without crowns’ due to their wealth. Day 5 will set you through the Spanish Pyrenees mountains on your way to Jaca.
Spend a night here in Jaca with the next day open to exploring the medieval regions of Olite, Pamplona – home to the annual, very controversial running of the bulls and off to Laguardia.
Sample local wines, authentic cuisines and an unrivalled Michelin-starred restuarant in the evening. Get your rest before the final day on your way to Bilbao.
It is now your last day exploring Northern Spain but don’t fret as we have saved the best till last. Devour delicious tapas in Getaria on your way to Bilbao where you will have complimentary accommodation before your journey back home.
