Indonesian Exploration Itinerary

You have now arrived in Brisbane, walk down Southbank, take a ferry up the river or book a shore excursion to Australia Zoo! Founded by Australian Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin’s family you can get up close with kangaroo’s, koalas and many other interesting animals. It’s now time to embark on your journey to Singapore on board Pacific Aria.
With two days at sea you will have plenty of time to find your way around the ship, try a few drinks from the cocktail menu, and ask at the excursions desk about booking some shore tours.
The now bustling city of Port Douglas acts as your gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, spend a full day of marine adventure with prime opportunities to swim, snorkel, dive and view the reef from a unique underwater observatory.
Today at sea why not learn something new? Take a ballroom dance class, learn to make the perfect cappuccino, or find out more about your favourite wines with P&O’s range of classes and activities.
Darwin is one of the far north’s true underestimated beauties. Food and festival culture is big and there seems to always be something to do or see. Explore tropical parklands or opt for a safer way to see the native wildlife at the city’s Crocosaurus Cove! Explore the capital of Northern Territory, in particular the stunning Kakadu National Park. Home to beautiful landscapes and an abundance of wildlife, Kakadu is like nothing you’ve ever witnessed.
After exploring Indonesia relax on board as you sail back towards Australia. Read by the pool, book a spa treatment, or indulge in an afternoon nap on deck.
Dili, the capital of East Timor, is on the north coast of the island. Shore tours from here are varied and include activities such as island tours, cultural visits, snorkelling and kayaking.
Make the most of your last few sea days aboard the ship! Catch a live performance in the Blue Bar, book a table at the speciality restaurant you have had your eye on, and dance the night away at P&O’s famous White Party.
Day six of your Asian cruise offers the chance to see the rare, and prehistoric looking Komodo Dragon. Explore the island, which has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a local guide and watch the dragons in their natural habitat. Afterwards head to the beach for a swim or a snorkel!
Lombok is filled with Indonesia culture. Explore the craft villages for intricate wooden and pearl carvings, meander through the Lingsar Temple and take home some stunning hand crafted pottery from Sukarara.
There is always something new and improved to try when you cruise with P&O. With so many experiences on board you can choose to do it all or do nothing at all!
Welcome to Singapore. Packed full of exciting activities and attractions, you will be spoilt for choice! Explore the city on your own or join the cruise crew for the Singapore Heritage Tour, a historical tour of the WWII battlefields, or discover the fascinating habits of nocturnal animals on the Night Safari. It’s now time to disembark from Pacific Aria and enjoy your post cruise accommodation in Singapore.
