About Blue Lagoon Cruises
Blue Lagoon Cruises was founded in 1950. The initial vision behind the company was to establish a fishing industry in the then not-so-tourist-driven nation but, within 4-years, the founders discovered that this was not viable. Already madly in love with the stunning Fijian Islands, the cruise line was born. Today, it has become a world-renowned company, offering one of the best possible ways to experience the beauty of the South Pacific!
From the beginning, the founders of Blue Lagoon Cruises have worked closely with Fijian Chiefs and locals. The result is one of the most authentic Fijian cruising experiences around! On a Blue Lagoon Cruise, Fiji’s culture, landscape and wildlife are the main attractions. The ships are smaller, boutique-style vessels—purpose-built for getting guests closer to the shore so that they can make the most of the unique activities offered as part of the cruise. With on-board amenities, like a glass-bottom section, Senikai Spa and open-air dining, you’ll be able to sit back and enjoy the picturesque ride, totally relaxed, without a care in the world!
Why Choose Blue Lagoon Cruises?
The Blue Lagoon Cruises crew are 100% Fijian, meaning that when you cruise with them, you’ll get to learn first-hand knowledge about all the ports you visit. Explore hard-to-reach islands, deserted beaches and un-spoilt reefs with a team of destination experts at your side! On a Blue Lagoon Cruise you’ll get to visit and support traditional Yasawa Island villages, plus the cruise line even has its own private island in the Yasawas—Nanuya Lailai. Travel on a 4 or 7-night cruise to stay at this stunning island. With a deserted beach, swaying palms and turquoise waters, you’ll feel like you’ve really discovered a true slice of paradise!
Blue Lagoon Cruises offer ultimate comfort, entertainment and more. The cabins feature both Queen and Twin-single beds, there’s entertainment provided as you go, guests can hike to sacred caves, swim with manta rays and be treated to a traditional Lovo feast under the stars.
