My Cruises

Solomon Sea Islands Cruise Itinerary

As part of your My Cruises exclusive cruise deal you will enjoy 2 nights at the Hilton Cairns for free! Visit the Great Barrier Reef or the Daintree Rainforest before embarking on the P&O Pacific Eden for your 10-night voyage.
Your first day at sea aboard the newly renovated Pacific Eden launched in November 2015, make sure to find out about all the events happening on board such as movies playing on the big screen, live music, comedy, and fitness classes scheduled at the gym.
The range of activities available ensures Alotau will capture the imagination of every passenger! Located on the southernmost tip of Papua New Guinea’s mainland, Alotau is said to be the gateway to the fascinating tribal culture and historical WWII sites of these remote islands.
Welcome to the Trobriand Islands! Kitava is one of the four main islands in the archipelago and offers a fascinating cultural experience in port. Well known for their local tribes, who have maintained their traditional lifestyle, uninfluenced by outside cultures and modern ways.
Once the capital of New Britain, Rabaul has had a rough past. Both volcanic eruptions as recently as 1994, and fighting in WWII, have taken their toll on the area which was all but flattened. The harbour, which has remained relatively untouched is said to be one of the best in the Pacific, and its fiery past makes for a truly fascinating destination.
The Conflict Islands boast one of the most biodiverse coral and sea life in the world. Made up of a coral atoll of 21 private islands, this port is ideal for snorkelling, swimming and paddle boarding!
Welcome to the Solomon Islands! Gizo is known worldwide for the excellent dive sites. From WWII wrecks, to vibrant reefs and colourful fish, there is something for all levels of diver or snorkeler to enjoy!
Not the most attractive of cities, don’t let that fool you, the capital of the Solomon Islands, Honiara is teeming with activities and things to do.  Learn about the countries WWII history, explore the local markets, or relax on the deserted sandy beaches.
One last day at sea to enjoy P&O’s Pacific Eden, treat yourself to dinner at celebrity chef Luke Mangan’s Salt Grill, book a spa treatment or simply relax on deck with a good book.
Welcome back to Cairns! After an action packed 11 days cruising the Solomon Sea, it is time to disembark the P&O Pacific Eden. You will be met by your transfer and taken to the airport to catch your flight home, all included as part of your exclusive cruise holiday package with My Cruises!
